A:	Golf Digest’s mobi site will work on most recent cellphones that have a colour screen, access to the mobile Internet and a browser. Technically speaking, the service is ideally for WAP 2.0 handsets with a minimum screen width of 176 pixels. Make sure your GPRS settings are active – to activate them follow the instructions below, or consult your service provider for advice if you’re unsure.

Q:	Do I have to download something?
A:	No. You can use the browser that is already installed on your cellphone.

Q:	Is the service free?
A:	The service is free, no subscription charges apply! You only pay for the amount of data you download while you’re browsing the site. We’ve made pages in Mippin as light on data as possible, costing you as little as 2 cents per article you read. Consult your service provider if you are unsure of your mobile data/mobile internet tariffs.

Q:	How do I set up GPRS/3G access on my phone
A:	To access Golf Digest’s service and the Mobile Internet you need to enable your phone’s GPRS settings. (Make sure your cellphone can support Internet browsing before enabling them). Choose from the instructions below depending on which network you’re on. Have your cellphone's manufacturer and model details handy, when completing these steps.

MTN
1.	Dial *123# from your cellphone
2.	Select option 1 (phone setup) from the menu that follows.
3.	Select option 3 (WAP).
4.	Connection settings will be sent to your phone; save these settings.
5.	If any of the above mentioned steps fail, simply retry.
Still having trouble? Call MTN's call centre; dial 808 (contract) or 173 (pay as you go) from your mobile phone (or 083 808 and 083 173 from another phone). Alternatively, visit an MTN outlet near you.
Vodacom
1.	Dial *111# from your cellphone
2.	Select option 5 (phone settings) from the menu that follows.
3.	Select option 1 to choose your mobile make and model from a list, or options 2 to have Vodacom identify the phone for you.
4.	In both cases, simply follow the steps provided to get the WAP settings sent to your phone.
5.	Connection settings will be sent to your phone; save these settings.
6.	If any of the above mentioned steps fail, simply retry.

Cell C
1.	Dial *147# from your cellphone
2.	Connection settings will be sent to your phone; save these settings. If a password is requested enter 0000
3.	If any of the above mentioned steps fail, simply retry.

Virgin Mobile
1.	When you first insert your Virgin Mobile SIM into your mobile you'll receive an SMS asking you if you would like to accept Virgin Settings.
2.	If you reply YES, your settings for MMS and WAP can be automatically downloaded and installed on your mobile.
